Armin Nikravan is a video editor based in Los Angeles with experience in narrative, documentary, and short form editing. He studied editing at DePaul University, where he built a strong technical foundation and understanding of film history. His background also includes working with 16mm and 35mm film.

In addition to his educational experience, Armin developed professional experience as a production assistant at Union Editorial handling production drives and providing client services and other office support. Prior to that as an assistant editor intern with Hourglass Films he logged and organized over 50 hours of documentary footage, putting together an assembly cut from a director outline. He has also worked as a Video Editor for The Executives’ Club of Chicago, cutting virtual event recaps and promotional content.

Currently, he works at the Sherman Grinberg Film Archive, preserving historical newsreels, but his focus is on editing. Taking on freelance and personal projects whenever possible.

Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, Avid Media Composer, and Pro Tools, Armin brings technical skill and a strong sense of storytelling to his work.
